The Orlando Magic were not expected to win very many games this season so this recent losing streak is probably the 1st of many long losing streaks they are going to suffer from this season. The main question here though and what many fans are asking, why is this losing streak happening? The Magic have for the most part looked good despite losing

Goodbye Dwight Howard. The relationship is finally over. It's finally hit me, now that I've seen you on the bench in LA, that superman is out of Orlando. I want to say this is bitter sweet. I want to say that I'm gonna miss the good times with Dwight and that I wish we could rekindle the relationship. But I can't bring myself to it. Dwight getting
IT'S BACK! IT'S BACK! THE NBA IS BACK! Well kinda sorta. Training camps are starting up right about now and Pre-Season games start next week. I'm here to tell you what you should be looking for this Pre-Season/Training Camp in your team and players and if you should bother watching it in the first place. Always remember though you can't gather

As many players before him have done, Dwight Howard took out an ad in the local paper thanking the team and fans that he had just abandoned.
I have a feeling many of the fans don't feel the same way, with the upcoming Magic team predicted to do poorly at best.

I don't care if they fire me. If they do I'll go home and have a good day. Not an exact quote but that about sums up the day Stan Van Gundy decided he was done with the junk he had been put through. With diet Pepsi in hand SVG told the media that Dwight had asked management to fire him. Was this really that big of a surprise? No, it wasn't. Was it

Here's how the deal broke down:

So Stan Van Gundy and Otis Smith are history in Orlando, so now the search for a new head coach and general manager is underway.
Jerry Sloan has already showed interest in the head coach position, and now Chris Broussard is reporting that the Magic are showing interest in courting Shaq as a potential GM candidate.
This has to be the funniest
Since Dwight Howard made the decision to stay with the Orlando Magic instead of optioning out of his contract, the Magic have beaten New Jersey Nets, but lost to the Miami Heat (10 points) and the Chicago Bulls (26).
The best center in the league (in my opinion) has to be tapping himself on the head and asking himself why did he stay in
It seems fast since the 2011-12 NBA season just started a little over a month ago, but thanks to a condensed season the 2012 NBA All-Star starters were announced today.
The city of Los Angeles is the home to four of the Western Conferences' starters as Kobe Bryant and Andrew Bynum represent the Lakers and Chris Paul and Blake Griffin represent

Last night, I went to Dwight Howard's charity basketball game. It was held to benefit the D12 Foundation and he hosted a crew of former Magic players to play current Magic players.
Not all of the former players were retired legends. Marcin Gortat showed up, as did Matt Barnes, Keith Bogans, Trevor Ariza, and Courtney Lee. Grant Hill
