As media day was in full force throughout the NBA on Monday, there were a few fairly interesting stories throughout the league (Interesting for a media day anyways). There was the beginning of the Laker's new star-powered starting 5. There's the return of the one, the only: Rasheed Wallace, who is un-retiring to join the New York Knicks. And
Congratulations to the Oklahoma City Thunder, who tied up their Western Conference Finals match-up at two a piece tonight. A special shout out to the bigs from OKC as they were able to hold off San Antonio just long enough for Kevin Durant to come along in the fourth and explode for 18 points in the closing 7 minutes. The San Antonio Spurs two-time All-Star Manu Ginobili is out indefinitely after breaking his hand against the Minnesota Timberwolves on Monday. This spells disaster for the team that finished with the best record in the Western Conference last season.
