I was doing my usual Internet reading when I came across this interesting trade proposal: the Phoenix Suns would give Steve Nash to the San Antonio Spurs for Tony Parker. Automatically, I thought about whether or not this would be good for either team.
I'm not so sure on one side but all for it on the other.
Let me get this out of the way

Well, in other NBA news, Pistons banger Ben Wallace is pulled over for drunk driving and was found carrying a pistol in the back seat for which he had no permit. Now, while I'm all for drinking and driving (sarcasm bleeding through my laptop keyboard), carrying a gun really is unacceptable.
If this country is ever going to cut down on

Last season the Chicago Bulls shocked the NBA world by posting the best record in the league and hosting the regular season MVP Derrick Rose and the Coach of the Year Tom Thibodeau.
No one in their right mind picked the Bulls to finish better than the Miami Heat, Boston Celtics, Orlando Magic or the Atlanta Hawks. Well, the Bulls pulled it

In their 21st season in the league, the Timberwolves found themselves as winners of only 17 games last year...five wins less than their inaugural season. So they were worse last season than when they started from scratch in 1990, selecting the best of the scrubs that other teams didn't want. It's hard to justify last season as a success in

Marcin Gortat was drafted by the Phoenix Suns with the second to last pick in the NBA Draft in 2005. He was immediately dealt to the Orlando Magic where he would find himself backing up the best center in the league in Three Time Defensive player of the year Dwight Howard. I speculated that Gortat is indeed only partly human, but in

The Nets will no longer have New Jersey in front of their name as Jay-Z renames the New Jersey Nets, the Brooklyn Nets.
This isn't really a surprise. Besides the Detroit Pistons, who play 40 minutes north of Detroit, there isn't a team named after a city that doesn't play in that city.
It only seems right for the Nets to be called the

I'm back with the next section of my top 200 NBA players of all-time list. This time we got a little bit of everything...new school, old school, players who are coaches, players who have been coaches and players who wanted to beat up opponents.
Enjoy the list.

DeAndre Jordan exploded last season in the wake of Chris Kaman's injuries. He looked like a less polished Dwight Howard at times -- blocking shots, rebounding, running the court like a gazelle. It's a stretch to compare him to the Magic's mega stud, but he does offer a lot of excitement and ability, and will undoubtedly be a relevant

Continuing with the top 200 list, we move up another tier to some solid players, perennial all-stars, and players who played for an eternity (Eddie Johnson and Cliff Robinson). I've tried to reward longevity, but it is a difficult balance to strike with all the supernova players who burn so bright early in their careers and then fade away

Two weeks ago I wrote an article on whether or not Rudy Gay can be the go to guy for the Memphis Grizzlies and lead them to succeed in the same way they did without him.
I'm still puzzled about Gay and his leadership abilities, but in an article posted by Hoops World's Alex Kennedy, the Grizzlies star swing man says he is ready to be help
