With the news that Besiktas is retiring Deron Williams jersey, the speculation I began earlier about him staying in Turkey doesn't appear as though it is going to come to fruition. The proposition cost me $5.00, as I bet my brother with 10/1 odds that Williams would remain in Turkey.
Williams averaged less per game than he did in the NBA.

The NBA lockout replacement of the Homecoming Tour LeBron James, Dwayne Wade, Carmelo Anthony and Chris Paul were going to throw in December is officially cancelled. This sounds like bad news but in all honesty, I think all basketball fans will enjoy the other option much more, the 2011-12 NBA season.

Last night, I went to Dwight Howard's charity basketball game. It was held to benefit the D12 Foundation and he hosted a crew of former Magic players to play current Magic players.
