So Stan Van Gundy and Otis Smith are history in Orlando, so now the search for a new head coach and general manager is underway.
Jerry Sloan has already showed interest in the head coach position, and now Chris Broussard is reporting that the Magic are showing interest in courting Shaq as a potential GM candidate.
This has to be the funniest news I’ve heard all week, as this report can’t possibly be true. What on earth does Shaq know about running a team? I guess his experience as GM of a team in the Rookie/Sophomore Challenge qualifies him to run an NBA team.
We’ll see what actually comes out of this report later, as it appears Chris Broussard’s sources now consist of mental ward patients.
