With the news that Besiktas is retiring Deron Williams jersey, the speculation I began earlier about him staying in Turkey doesn't appear as though it is going to come to fruition. The proposition cost me $5.00, as I bet my brother with 10/1 odds that Williams would remain in Turkey.
Williams averaged less per game than he did in the NBA.

The Nets will no longer have New Jersey in front of their name as Jay-Z renames the New Jersey Nets, the Brooklyn Nets.
This isn't really a surprise. Besides the Detroit Pistons, who play 40 minutes north of Detroit, there isn't a team named after a city that doesn't play in that city.
