It seems fast since the 2011-12 NBA season just started a little over a month ago, but thanks to a condensed season the 2012 NBA All-Star starters were announced today.
The city of Los Angeles is the home to four of the Western Conferences' starters as Kobe Bryant and Andrew Bynum represent the Lakers and Chris Paul and Blake Griffin represent
The NBA lockout replacement of the Homecoming Tour LeBron James, Dwayne Wade, Carmelo Anthony and Chris Paul were going to throw in December is officially cancelled. This sounds like bad news but in all honesty, I think all basketball fans will enjoy the other option much more, the 2011-12 NBA season.
The tournament is no longer a replacement
With the new collective bargaining agreement still not hashed out, we don't know if the frequently discussed amnesty clause will kick in. If it doesn't, the Magic are going to be one of the teams pining most that it would. Saddled with the absurd contract of Gilbert Arenas and the very bad contract of Hedo Turkoglu, the Magic are deep in

According to a Twitter feed from Rafael Uehara, a managing figure of the Basketball Post, Boston Celtic Avery Bradley has been let go from Hapoel Jerusalem of Israel.
I don't know if anyone else is, but I'm not surprised.
When Bradley played at University of Texas and was selected with the 19th pick in the 2010 draft by the Celtics, I

My homeboy and Oncourt Onslaught writer Brett Roberts shot me a text yesterday to tell me he had a crazy but great idea. A day later, both of us have put together a top 200 NBA players of all-time list and are ready to get the debates rolling.
He's in Florida while I'm in northern Illinois. I'm sure he has Orlando Magic players higher than I do

In what will probably be the most predictable move in the NBA this season, commisioner David Stern selected Minnesota Timberwolves power forward Kevin Love to replace the injured Yao Ming.
The fans voted in the five starters for each team for the all-star game, and the Rockets center was voted in despite his injury.
Love, who leads the NBA
