As media day was in full force throughout the NBA on Monday, there were a few fairly interesting stories throughout the league (Interesting for a media day anyways). There was the beginning of the Laker's new star-powered starting 5. There's the return of the one, the only: Rasheed Wallace, who is un-retiring to join the New York Knicks. And

I'm not so sure on one side but all for it on the other.

Two weeks ago I wrote an article on whether or not Rudy Gay can be the go to guy for the Memphis Grizzlies and lead them to succeed in the same way they did without him.
I'm still puzzled about Gay and his leadership abilities, but in an article posted by Hoops World's Alex Kennedy, the Grizzlies star swing man says he is ready to be help

Every year there are a few NBA players who are past their prime and should call it quits to save their legacy and make room for the new guns. No better time to permanently pack up the sneakers than a lockout.
This article isn't meant to be mean, but realistic. These players have done their thing in the past, but their 15 minutes or 10 plus
